Today, the activities consist of two youth centers and one youth culture program. Our business concept is to stimulate and support activities that are based on and require youth engagement and responsibility.\nYou plan, implement, and develop activities together with young people and are an important adult in their everyday life. You become part of an engaged team of leisure leaders and culture coordinators who together drive and develop the municipality's open meeting places for youth.\nYour main workplace will be our temporary youth center Silvert\u00e4rnan. Part of the activities also takes place at other locations in the municipality based on young people's needs and interests. The activities are LGBTQI-certified and are characterized by inclusion, accessibility, and respect for everyone's equal worth.\nWork Tasks\nYouth open meeting places conduct activities on weekdays and weekends, both during daytime and evening hours. Our goal is for all young people to feel welcome, seen, and safe, and to be given the opportunity to develop their interests and ideas based on their own circumstances. By inspiring, challenging, and motivating young people, you strengthen their positive development. You develop forms for participation, influence, and make non-formal and informal learning visible.\nYour work tasks include, among other things:\nPlanning, implementing, and following up activities together with young people.\nWorking with a supportive and inclusive approach.\nContributing to the development of activity quality.\nCollaborating with schools, social services, civil society organizations, and other relevant stakeholders.\nWorking day, evening, and weekend shifts as well as, if needed, in different activity facilities and outdoor environments.\n\nQualifications\nWe are looking for someone who has:\nEducation as a leisure leader, leisure pedagogue, social pedagogue, cultural pedagogue, or other post-secondary education that the employer deems equivalent. Other education should be combined with experience working with the target group.\nGood ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.\n\nIt is a merit if you have:\nExperience working with young people and youth activities.\nExperience leading participation processes and organizing leisure activities together with young people.\nExperience with KEKS network working methods and training.\nKnowledge of the Charter for Open Leisure and Youth Work (European principles and guidelines for local open leisure and youth activities).\nKnowledge in norm criticism, gender equality, and participation work.\nMultilingual skills.\nInterest in and knowledge of digital tools, technology, and social media.\n\nWho Are You?\nTo thrive and succeed in this role, you are positive, creative, and solution-oriented.
