You will work with data collection, geological and geotechnical modelling, technical studies and project development, always in close cooperation with colleagues from different specialist areas. The role gives you the opportunity to contribute with your expertise while continuing to learn from others across geology, rock mechanics, seismology, numerical modelling and project management.\n\nIn the role, you will for example:\n\nCoordinate geotechnical data acquisition, modelling and model application\nPlan and budget drilling programs in collaboration with relevant stakeholders\nCreate, maintain and improve geotechnical models\nContribute to technical studies and reporting\nParticipate in infrastructure and mining development projects\nCollaborate with consultants and internal stakeholders on critical mining studies\n\nWhat you bring\n\nWe are looking for someone who enjoys analysing complex information and translating it into useful insights. You work in a structured way, take initiative when needed and value working together with others. You communicate clearly, ask questions when something needs to be understood more deeply and are motivated by contributing to solutions that make a difference for both operations and people.\n\nTo be eligible for the role, you need to have:\n\nA Master of Science degree in Mining Engineering, Engineering Geology, Geology or another related field.\nExperience from exploration geology or engineering geology.\nExperience from underground mining environments.\nFluency in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in Swedish is highly desirable.\nA valid driving license equivalent to Swedish category B.\n\nIt is also an advantage if you have:\n\nExperience with geotechnical logging and modelling, preferably using Leapfrog.\nExperience with geotechnical databases, such as AcQuire, Imago or Imdex.\nKnowledge of rock mass characterization systems.\nExperience with technical report writing and working with large geotechnical datasets.\n\nWe encourage applications from candidates whose experience may not align with every listed requirement but who are enthusiastic about the opportunity, passionate about the industry and confident in their ability to succeed in the role.\n\nWhat we offer\n\nIn addition to the general benefits we offer \u2014 which you can find a bit further down \u2014 we can also offer the following to those who do not currently live in Sweden:\n\nRelocation support for you and your family.\nExcellent conditions for settling in.
