In the role of special education specialist, you participate in the schools' student health teams and have a health-promoting and preventive focus. Your main task is to systematically work together with teachers for students in need of support (organizational level, group level, individual level) and to work with quality assurance of documentation processes such as USS (investigation of special support), intervention programs, and pedagogical assessments, among others. You are expected to have an active role in analyses related to mapping materials and, together with responsible educators, develop measures to help all students reach as high a level as possible. The position also includes mentoring teaching staff and student assistants regarding compensatory aids and study techniques, conducting classroom observations, and preparing materials for applications such as operational support. The school relies on the approach of inclusive behavioral support in schools (IBIS) to create a safe and inclusive environment for our students.\nAs a coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating the rector's district's student health initiatives in collaboration with existing special education teachers.
