Our students' opportunity to achieve good results in a creative environment with reality as the foundation is an important guiding star for everyone who works at Forslundagymnasiet.\nWe are now seeking a high school teacher for the construction and civil engineering program, land and site management focus!\nEmployment Information\nThe position is a permanent, full-time employment, with a planned start as soon as possible according to agreement.\nYour Responsibilities\nYou will be part of a team that together is responsible for education within the construction and civil engineering program. In this role, you plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on the curriculum and course objectives, with focus on both practical and theoretical components.\nYou actively work to develop the pedagogical work, create a safe learning environment, and support students' knowledge development. The position also includes collaboration with the industry and responsibility for students' workplace-based learning (APL).\nAbout You\nYou are a clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, structure, and context for all students. You are well-versed in the school's governing documents. You differentiate and vary your teaching based on students' needs. You share your knowledge and experience to contribute to collegial learning. An important part of the teaching role is building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Since teaching is largely based on various projects, collaboration skills and solution-focused approaches are valued qualities. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.\nRequirements\nEducation and\/or experience in land and site management\nExperience working with young people\nFluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written\nClean criminal record check\nClass B driver's license\n\nMerits\nExperience with wheel loaders, excavators, and other commonly used machinery in land and site management\nKnowledge of road work and safe lifting practices\nExperience teaching young people with different learning styles\nExperience placing orders for various types of projects\n\nSince there are fur animals at the school, you should not be allergic.
