It is a leading engineering and manufacturing company that operates in a number of areas and in various ways within the steel industry.\nWe are participating in a project where STEGRA (H2 Green Steel) establishes a steel mill in Norra Svartbyn in Boden where steel will be produced through an almost fossil-free process using hydrogen gas. Our mission is, among other things, to install machines used in steel production and includes work in mechanics, electronics and plumbing.\nWe now want to employ a HSE Officer (Health, Safety and Environment Officer). The work tasks may include but are not limited to:\nRole Overview:\nThe HSE Officer supports the implementation and administration of the project's Health, Safety and Environmental management system. The role initially focuses on HSE documentation, records, reporting, training coordination and administrative support, while progressively developing practical site HSE experience under the guidance of experienced HSE personnel.\nJob Description\nHSE Documentation & Records: Maintain HSE documentation, registers, inspection records, training records, certificates and other project HSE files.\nReporting & Tracking: Support preparation of daily, weekly and monthly HSE reports, statistics and KPIs, and maintain follow-up records for HSE observations and corrective actions.\nTraining Support: Assist with HSE inductions, toolbox talks, training coordination, attendance records and preparation of training materials.\nRisk Management Support: Assist the HSE team with Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), Permit to Work documentation and other safety documentation.\nIncident Management Support: Assist with incident and near-miss reporting, documentation, investigation records and corrective-action follow-up.\nCompliance Support: Support implementation of project HSE procedures and applicable Swedish work environment requirements.\nSite HSE Support: Participate in site inspections, safety walks and workplace observations under the guidance of experienced HSE personnel and follow up identified actions.\nHSE Communication: Support preparation and distribution of safety alerts, awareness materials and other HSE communications.\nContinuous Improvement: Support the HSE team in maintaining and continuously improving the project's HSE management system.\n\n \nQualifications (not mandatory):\nRelevant HSE qualification or certification; NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent is preferred.\nBAS-P\/BAS-U and\/or knowledge of Swedish work environment requirements is an advantage.\nGood written and spoken English.\nGood computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.\nStrong organizational and documentation skills.\nWillingness to learn and progressively develop practical construction HSE competence.\nPrevious HSE, industrial, manufacturing or construction experience is an advantage but not mandatory.\n\n\n\nOur headquarters are in Stockholm and applications are received via the specified e-mail address.","language":"sv","is_translated":false,"price":null,"currency":"SEK","status":"active","noindex":true,"location":{"address":"St\u00e5lverket 20","full_address":null,"city":"BODEN","country":"SE","latitude":65.806965828881,"longitude":21.785510113981},"metadata":{"region":"Norrbottens l\u00e4n","duration":"Tills vidare","employer":"Gemkom Engineering and Machinery Filial","postcode":"96140","positions":5,"profession":"Arbetsmilj\u00f6inspekt\u00f6r","salary_type":"Fast m\u00e5nads- vecko- eller timl\u00f6n","scope_of_work":"100\u2013100 %","working_hours":"Heltid","employment_type":"full_time","occupation_field":"S\u00e4kerhet och bevakning","employer_workplace":"Gemkom Engineering & Machinery Filial","experience_required":true,"employment_type_label":"Tillsvidareanst\u00e4llning (inkl. eventuell provanst\u00e4llning)"},"user_id":null,"is_sponsored":false,"views_count":4,"ai_views_count":12,"bot_views_count":0,"ai_vendor_counts":{"meta":5,"other":4,"openai":1,"anthropic":2},"visibility":"public","submission_source":null,"submission_ai_name":null,"has_owner_email":true,"can_contact_owner":true,"phone":null,"owner_email":"oerek@gemkom.com.tr","images":[],"published_at":"2026-09-03T14:18:25+00:00","expires_at":"2026-10-03T23:59:59+00:00","created_at":"2026-09-04T03:19:48+00:00","updated_at":"2026-09-15T03:06:13+00:00"}}
