Come and help make G\u00e4vle the center of sports together with us! With us, you will meet many children and young people who are active in sports associations, and you will have an important role in creating safe and positive experiences for them.\n\nAs a sports facility supervisor, you are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and care of the municipality's sports and leisure facilities. The work includes, among other things:\n\n\u2022 Responsibility for operation and maintenance of sports halls, grass fields, gravel fields, artificial grass pitches, track and field arenas, and ice rinks.\n\u2022 Performing facility-related services, including interior and exterior maintenance as well as cleaning of premises, such as cleaning toilets and floors.\n\u2022 Carrying out minor repairs to premises, equipment, and facilities.\n\u2022 Performing service and basic maintenance on the facility's machinery in collaboration with the vehicle coordinator.\n\u2022 Preparing and setting up booked premises, halls, and sports fields together with colleagues.\n\u2022 Working in a service-oriented manner with technical and practical tasks where problem-solving is an important part.\n\u2022 You work at several of our facilities within Gavlehov and the sports arenas, which means you need to be flexible and appreciate variety in your daily work.\n\u2022 Managing technology related to events and operations, such as sound, lighting, and audiovisual equipment. This is particularly important at facilities like Gavlehov, where digital technology is a central part of both operations and events.\n\u2022 Scheduled work including evenings and weekends, as well as some administrative work in our management systems.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nWe are looking for someone who has:\n\n\u2022 Completed upper secondary education, preferably in a technical or practical field.\n\u2022 Previous experience working as a custodian, facility manager, groundskeeper, or equivalent as determined by the employer.\n\u2022 A category B driver's license (manual transmission).\n\u2022 Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as the role involves daily contact with visitors, associations, and colleagues.\n\nIt is meritorious if you have:\n\n\u2022 Good computer skills, as we program sound and lighting via computers and also operate our TV screens.\n\u2022 Worked with sports associations.\n\u2022 Experience operating tractors, ice machines, and ride-on mowers.\n\u2022 Experience working as a sports facility supervisor and maintaining natural grass and artificial grass fields.\n\u2022 Experience with ice maintenance.\n\nTo succeed in this role, you have:\n\n\u2022 Teamwork skills.
