You'll take an active role throughout the design process, from understanding user needs and exploring opportunities to developing, testing, and implementing final solutions.\nYou'll use a hands-on, user-centered approach to turn insights and product requirements into compelling designs. Through sketching, visualization, mood boards, mock-ups, prototypes, and 3D CAD, you'll explore ideas, communicate design intent, and continuously iterate to create purposeful solutions.\nYou'll collaborate closely with product managers, project leaders, engineers, CMF specialists, and other designers to balance user needs, functionality, aesthetics, manufacturability, quality, and sustainability. You'll also contribute to and safeguard the Thule Product Identity, ensuring that products reflect our brand while allowing for innovation and differentiation.\nYou'll contribute to developing our design methods and ways of working, while staying curious about users, trends, materials, technologies, and new opportunities. You'll challenge ideas, inspire others, and help create products that enable an active life outdoors.\n \nWhat you bring\nTo be successful in this role, we believe you have a degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field, combined with solid experience in industrial design and product development.\nYou have a strong understanding of design principles and a developed aesthetic sense, with excellent creative problem-solving, sketching, visualization, and prototyping skills. You are hands-on and enjoy taking ideas from early concepts through detailed design and implementation.\nYou have a good understanding of relevant manufacturing processes and experience with 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Alias, or Rhino, as well as common design tools such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
