Our core values of courage, openness, and holistic thinking should always permeate our operations.\nThe Digitalization and Information Security Department consists of 12 employees who together drive, support, and develop work on digitalization and information security within MittSverige Vatten & Avfall.\nHow You Contribute as Information Security Officer and Data Protection Coordinator\nAs Information Security Officer and Data Protection Coordinator, you have a central role in leading and coordinating the company's work on information security and data protection. You work broadly with administrative, physical, and IT-related security and ensure that the work is conducted proactively, structurally, and efficiently based on the organization's objectives and governing documents. You work closely with the IT Manager and Security Chief with many contact points throughout the organization. The role also involves collaboration with owner municipalities, authorities, other water and wastewater utilities, and relevant networks.\nAn important part of the assignment is to monitor developments in the field, track external developments and regulations, and identify and analyze threats and risks. You contribute to translating these insights into concrete measures and improvements in operations.
