The division also works with objective-based management and follow-up as well as statistics for and analysis of the city's operations.\nWithin the division, the security and preparedness unit is responsible for developing and monitoring the city's work in the areas of security, preparedness and crime prevention at an overarching level. The unit is responsible, among other things, for overarching work with security and operational protection, leading the city's management of undesired events, event security, the on-duty officer function, internal control and the city's insurance protection.\nThe city office directs, challenges and strengthens the development force in the organization, in the city and in the region.
