You will work with instrumentation and automation-related matters throughout different phases of the project lifecycle \u2013 from feasibility studies and design to installation, testing, and commissioning.\nYou will work closely with process, electrical, and automation engineers, as well as project management, customers, and suppliers.\nExamples of your work tasks:\n\nDesign and technical solutions for instrumentation in process facilities.\n\n\nWork from P&ID and translate process requirements into instrumentation solutions.\n\n\nInstrument and material selection, as well as development of technical specifications and documentation.\n\n\nWork with I\/O, loops, valves, and measuring instruments for example pressure, flow, level, and temperature.\n\n\nEnsure that solutions meet relevant requirements and standards, for example within ATEX.\n\n\nParticipate in technical reviews and coordination with other disciplines, suppliers, and customers.\n\n\nAssist with FAT\/SAT, I\/O checks, troubleshooting, and commissioning.\n\n\nDepending on your background, the role may also include work with PLC\/DCS and industrial automation.\nYour Profile\nWe believe you have:\n\nTechnical education in instrumentation, automation, electrical engineering, or equivalent.\n\n\nExperience with instrumentation within process, energy, or other heavy industry.\n\n\nGood understanding of processes and experience working with P&ID.\n\n\nExperience with instrument selection, I\/O, loops, valves, and various types of process measurement.\n\n\nKnowledge of ATEX and instrumentation in industrial environments.\n\n\nAbility to collaborate with multiple technical disciplines and see the bigger picture in a facility.\n\n\nIt is a plus if you also have experience with SIL\/SIS and Functional Safety, commissioning, FAT\/SAT, as well as PLC and DCS systems. Experience with for example ABB 800xA\/AC800M, Emerson DeltaV, or Siemens TIA Portal\/PCS7 is an extra bonus.\nYou are technically curious and thorough, and you enjoy solving problems together with others.
