The target audience includes students, staff, and external stakeholders.\n \nResponsibilities\nMid Sweden University is seeking a driven and experienced IT architect with a focus on security who wants to contribute to developing our IT environment and drive technical change in a complex organization. In this role, you will be an important part of developing and managing IT architecture, as well as contributing to long-term sustainable, robust, and secure technical solutions.\nYou will work closely with IT specialists, developers, operations functions, business units, and other stakeholders. You are also expected to participate in and lead assignments and development initiatives, as well as provide support in architecture and technical decision-making issues.\nYour areas of responsibility will include:\nDevelop and further develop IT architecture and technical solutions\nParticipate in and drive architecture and technical decision-making matters\nContribute to target architecture, technical principles, and standardization\nProvide support to projects, operations organizations, and business units on technical matters\nParticipate in matters concerning cloud services, integrations, identity, and IT security\nIntegrate security requirements and security principles in architecture and technical solutions\nParticipate in technical assessments and requirements setting for the implementation and procurement of IT solutions\n\n \nYour Background\nYou have academic education in IT, computer engineering, systems science, or equivalent experience that the employer deems equivalent.\nWe are looking for someone with several years of experience in IT and who is accustomed to working with complex IT environments, architecture, and technical solutions.\nWe would like to see that you have experience in several of the following areas:\nIT architecture and solution design\nIT security and security architecture\nCloud services and IT platforms\nAzure and Microsoft 365\nIdentity and access management\nIntegrations and system landscapes\nInfrastructure, backup, and recovery\r\n\n \n\n\nYour Qualities\nTo thrive and succeed in this role, you are analytical, structured, and have the ability to see the whole picture.
