The Unit works with conducting investigations, accrediting new systems, managing assignments and projects, environmental monitoring, and represents SMHI in international organizations within technology and architecture.\n \nAbout the Role\nThe role involves managing assignments within security protection and IT security architecture across the entire agency or parts of it, and\/or external organizations such as MCF, FM, SSM, other meteorological institutes, or other partner organizations. The role also includes strategically and tactically ensuring SMHI's cyber and IT security.\n \nYour responsibilities will include:\n \nAgency-wide IT architecture with a main focus on security protection and secure system development\nDevelopment of application guidelines within IT security and security protection\nAdvice on IT security, security protection, and architecture\nDevelopment of the architecture for SMHI's secure environment\nEnvironmental monitoring, both technical and legal\nDevelopment of secure system development practices, such as release processes and code management\n\n \nAbout You\nWe are looking for someone with a university degree in computer science, data science, or similar. Alternatively, you have other experience that SMHI considers equivalent. A requirement for the position is that you have knowledge and experience within Cyber and IT Security Architecture.\n \nIt is advantageous if you have:\n \nExperience with security protection\nExperience with secure system development and system development in an IT environment for security-protected information\nExperience working with Security Architecture and IT Security\nExperience with system administration in secure environments\nExperience working with IT security and\/or security architecture application guidelines\nKnowledge of security protection and signal protection within Swedish agencies\nExperience with operational work on security incidents\n\n \nGreat emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities. To succeed in the role, you must be self-directed, confident, and stable with good self-awareness. You have strong communication skills and ensure that messages are understood and that expectations are clear for all stakeholders.
