As an on-duty investigation leader, you act operationally and with responsibility for the cases handled by the function.\r\n\r\nWe are looking for you to work as an on-duty investigation leader in \u00d6rnsk\u00f6ldsvik, Kramfors, H\u00e4rn\u00f6sand, or Sundsvall.\r\n\r\n1 position(s).\r\n\r\nDUTIES\r\nAs an on-duty investigation leader, the team operates around the clock, every day of the year, in both regional, police area, and local police area matters. You supervise patrols in the field to take far-reaching and relevant initial measures, and you also supervise the investigation resources available during day and evening shifts so that relevant and adequate investigative measures are taken in the cases for which you are the investigation leader.\r\n\r\nAs a supervisor, you also have workplace responsibility based on your supervisory function. Together with the group managers, you coach, motivate, and support employees and create conditions for them to succeed in the crime investigation and crime prevention mission.\r\n\r\nAs an on-duty investigation leader, you act offensively and with due process under applicable law. You also collaborate with, among others, crime coordination, station commanders, duty commanders, RLC commanders, field commanders, the Police's contact center (PKC), local investigation leaders, prosecutors, the court system, defense attorneys, and the correctional service.\r\n\r\nWithin the group, expedited prosecution (SLF) is handled, where you as investigation leader support patrols at the scene in matters to be handled within SLF and process the case until it is handed over to the prosecutor. As an on-duty investigation leader, you may also act as an investigation leader in other groups\/units and\/or in individual cases.\r\n\r\n\r\nQUALIFICATIONS\r\nThis is an opportunity for you who have:\r\n\u2022       A police degree according to Regulation (2014:1105) on police training or other education or work experience that the employer deems relevant\r\n\u2022\tRelevant work experience in independent criminal investigation work\r\n\u2022\tVery good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing\r\n\u2022\tGood computer skills and good knowledge of the MS Office package\r\n\r\nIt is advantageous if you also have:\r\n\u2022\tRelevant experience in management with good results.\r\n\u2022\tCurrent and relevant experience in investigation leadership with good results. Experience in investigation leadership in an on-duty environment is preferable\r\n\u2022\tExperience in independent criminal investigation work with good results.\r\n\u2022\tCompleted the Police's investigation leader training at least at the basic level with a passing grade.\r\n\r\nThe function of investigation leader is complex and places high demands on being able to work both independently and in a group, building good relationships, and collaborating well both internally and externally. To succeed in the role, you need to be active in your management and independently be able to drive investigations and work tasks forward in a responsible manner.\r\n\r\nSince the workload can be high at times, you need to be able to remain calm in stressful situations, make judgments about which work tasks need to be prioritized, and make quick decisions based on the known facts available even if the full picture is not yet clear.\r\n\r\nSince the operation is event-driven, it requires you as a person to be flexible, unpretentious, and coaching toward your colleagues.
