With us, you will develop together with engaged and motivating colleagues, while your work contributes to increasing safety and reducing crime in Sweden.\nThe Personnel Responsibility Board (PAN) handles cases where employees of the Swedish Police Authority are subject to review under the Employment Protection Act (1982:80) and the Public Employment Act (1994:260) regarding termination of employment due to personal circumstances and disciplinary responsibility. The Board also handles appealed cases concerning police students. The National Police Commissioner serves as the Board's chair. Cases are prepared at the Board's secretariat, which consists of the vice chair, three case officers, and an administrator. The secretariat also prepares cases concerning employees reviewed by the State Responsibility Board.\n\nJob Description\nThe assignment as case officer at the Personnel Responsibility Board includes the following work tasks:\nPrepare and present cases at the Personnel Responsibility Board\nConduct consultations with employees and labor organizations\nProvide advice and support to regional groups for termination and disciplinary cases (GSD)\nPrepare meetings and conferences with GSD staff\nPrepare cases concerning employees reviewed by the State Responsibility Board\nInform about the Board's activities within the Police Authority\nPrepare annual activity reports\nDraft policy documents in the area\n\nThe work is primarily performed in the office.\n\nQualifications\nThis is an opportunity for you who have:\nA law degree\nVery good and current experience with independent legal work that the employer considers relevant for the position and includes at least two years of full-time work\nVery good knowledge of Swedish\nSwedish citizenship\n\nIt is considered advantageous if you also:\nHave current experience working within the Police or other government operations that the employer considers relevant\nHave district court qualification\nHave current knowledge and work experience in labor law and criminal law that the employer considers relevant\nHave experience as a case officer that the employer considers relevant\nHave experience with qualified written presentation that the employer considers relevant\n\nPersonal Qualities\nTo succeed in the role of lawyer within the police, you should be solution-focused, flexible, and able to deliver high quality work even during periods of high work tempo.
