We work with both service and projects. Our customers are primarily public facilities, property management companies and construction companies. We work with everything from complex hospital environments to traditional HVAC installations, which means there is great variety in our inquiries.\n\nWe work primarily according to ABT but AB also occurs.\n\nYou develop an estimate based on specified requirements and conditions in consultation with those responsible for the various bids. The work involves close contact with department managers, suppliers, subcontractors and other estimators involved in the bidding work.\n\nYou also actively contribute to developing work methods, tools and processes to make estimating work more efficient and reliable.\n\nThe position reports to the Business Area Manager HVAC as our support functions are centrally organized and work with all departments.\n\nYour Main Responsibilities\nPrepare estimates and bid proposals\nPerform quantity calculations and pricing\nCalculate material costs, labor costs and other project costs\nPrepare inquiry documents for subcontractors\nObtain and compile material prices from suppliers\nSubmit bids in consultation with the department manager\nCollaborate with colleagues and other estimators during bid work\nContribute to more efficient work methods and modern tools within estimating\nWork according to the company's management system for quality, environment and occupational health and safety\n\nYour Background\nWe are looking for someone with several years of experience from the pipe\/HVAC industry with relevant post-secondary education or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience.
