You become an important part of the bidding process from early market analysis and review of tender documents to the final bid.\n\nDepending on your experience and background, you will:\n\nParticipate in or lead bidding and estimation work for major projects\nAnalyze tender requirements, technical documents, and contract documentation\nPrepare cost estimates, quantity calculations, and production budgets\nWork with procurement and evaluation of subcontractors and suppliers\nCollaborate with project managers, engineering managers, and specialists\nContribute to business strategic decisions and risk assessments prior to bidding\nParticipate in developing work methods, processes, and estimation methodology\n\nThe role may involve some travel within Sweden. Travel occurs at project startups, bid meetings, and coordination with project organizations, which may sometimes involve one or a couple of overnight stays per month.\n\nWork is primarily office-based, and many of our clients currently operate according to a hybrid model with high office presence.\n\nWho We Are Looking For\n\nWe are looking for someone with experience from the construction and infrastructure industry who wants to develop further within estimation, bidding, or business management. You may currently work as an estimator, estimating engineer, bid engineer, site manager, foreman, project engineer, or hold a similar position within construction operations.\n\nWe believe that you have:\n\nExperience from infrastructure, earthworks, or construction contracting.\nA good understanding of production, cost control, and contracting processes.\nExperience with estimation work or a strong interest in developing in this area.\nThe ability to work in a business-focused manner and see the bigger picture in a project.\nExperience with procurement and collaboration with subcontractors is a merit.\nKnowledge of estimation systems, such as MAP or equivalent, is a merit.\nGood knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.\n\nWe place great emphasis on personal qualities and welcome both those who are relatively early in their career and want to take the step from production to bidding work, as well as those with many years of experience who want to contribute your specialist knowledge.\n\nTo succeed in the role, we see that you are driven, curious, and engaged.
