Organize the participation of unemployed persons and job seekers in active employment measures and preventive unemployment reduction measures.\n\nRequirements for Candidates:\nBachelor's degree or second-level professional higher education:\nObtained or obtaining (second-year student) a professional master's degree in education sciences with a qualification in career consulting or a professional master's degree in human resources management or psychology;\none year of experience in career consulting or two years of experience in client consulting (in addressing social and\/or employment issues), if a bachelor's degree in pedagogy or social work has been obtained;\none year of experience in career consulting is desirable if a bachelor's degree in psychology or a professional master's degree in education sciences with a career consulting qualification or human resources management has been obtained, or if currently in the second year of the aforementioned master's programs;\nwork experience in career consulting of no less than five years, if a bachelor's degree or second-level professional higher education has been obtained, excluding those with a bachelor's degree in psychology, pedagogy, social work, or those who have obtained or are obtaining (second-year student) a professional master's degree in education sciences with a career consulting qualification or a professional master's degree in human resources management;\nwork experience in employment and\/or personnel selection is desirable;\nknowledge of the regulatory acts in force in the Republic of Latvia within the scope of the position's competencies;\ncounseling skills;\nknowledge of the personnel selection process;\ncommunication, presentation, planning, control, and analytical skills;\nability to evaluate facts, anticipate and prevent risks;\nEnglish language knowledge for communication with clients of other nationalities is desirable;\ncomputer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to work with office equipment;\na valid e-signature tool is required for the performance of the position's duties.\n\nMain Duties of the Position:\nProvide individual and group career consultations according to clients' preferences and consultation objectives in accordance with thematic divisions;\nIdentify and consult with target client groups (long-term unemployed, persons on parental leave, young people, persons with special needs, clients aged 50+, persons who have served sentences in institutions of deprivation of liberty, persons in institutions of deprivation of liberty, etc.);\nTaking into account the client's needs (including using profiling methods for the unemployed) and proposals, determine the measures to be included in the Individual Job Search Plan or Job Seeker Card that would facilitate the client's return to the labor market;\nplan client participation and ensure the fulfillment of the Agency-approved career consultation performance indicators;\norganize and conduct appropriate candidate selection for filling vacant positions at the request of employers.\n\nWe Offer:\nWork in a state institution with the opportunity to gain diverse professional experience;\na monthly salary from EUR 1,160.00 to EUR 1,330.00 (before taxes) in accordance with the evaluation of individual monthly salary setting criteria;\nsocial guarantees in accordance with those established in public administration;\nadditional leave days (up to 10 working days per year);\nresponsible and knowledgeable colleagues;\nprofessional development of knowledge and the opportunity to participate in various training programs;\nhealth insurance policy after three months of work.\n\nCandidates must submit a motivated cover letter, CV, and a copy of an educational credential document to the Agency by August 31, 2026, by sending them to the email address: konkursi@nva.gov.lv with the notation \"C\u0113su_fili\u0101les_karjeras_konsultants\"\n\nFor candidates who obtained their education abroad, please attach a document on its academic recognition in Latvia.\nThe candidate evaluation commission will not evaluate applications that do not include the documents specified in the announcement.\nWe will contact those candidates who are selected for the second round of personnel selection.\n\nThe selection competition will be held in three rounds:\n\nFirst Round - evaluation of candidates' education and work experience based on submitted documents.\nSecond Round \u2013 practical tasks, based on the results of which the candidate's professional knowledge will be evaluated.\nThird Round - interview, during which the candidate's knowledge and competencies will be evaluated in accordance with the requirements established for the position.
