You will ensure that procurement processes are efficient and that the provision of services is conducted with a focus on quality, availability, sustainability, and cost optimization, always with safety as the highest priority.\nAs Category Manager, you will:\n-Lead and coordinate category teams with purchasers.\n-Be responsible for procurement, contract management, and supplier management.\n-Work with risk management and sustainability issues within your category.\n-Collaborate closely with the S\u00f6dra Skog business area, suppliers, and other purchasers.\n-Drive change initiatives and develop administrative procurement processes.\nThis is a permanent position and is located at our head office in V\u00e4xj\u00f6 or at one of our units. Travel within Sweden as part of the job occurs.\nWho Are We Looking For?\nWe are seeking someone with forest education or equivalent experience in forest operations, where background from the contracting side with a focus on thinning and harvesting resources is meritorious but not decisive. You have previously worked with negotiations and contract management where structure and planning have been central elements.\nYou should also have:\n-Class B driver's license.\n-Strong knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.\n-Strong analytical ability with experience working in Excel and modern procurement systems.\nAs a person, you are organized and have the ability to plan and prioritize both your own and others' work. You work methodically and results-oriented with a strategic perspective and have good communication skills.
