Often it involves guiding people within the municipality, helping them find information, or using the municipality's e-services. By working with us, you will build solid knowledge about Halmstad Municipality and the services we provide.\nTo thrive with us, you need to enjoy a fast pace and tasks of varying nature. As a municipal guide, you might spend one moment informing about building permit procedures, and the next moment educating and guiding the public about preschool placement. Public expectations of municipal services change over time, so it's important for us to think innovatively and develop our methods. Digital channels are natural tools and also aids in personal interactions. You therefore need to be comfortable using computers and various IT-based systems at work and be curious about learning new ways of working.\nBeing available to our customers is very important, and we therefore work scheduled hours.\nYour Qualifications\nWe're looking for you with strong customer service sense and commitment. You need to have both the desire and ability to meet people positively, empathetically, and solution-oriented. It's important that you are social and outgoing, and comfortable being the face of the municipality.\nYou have experience from service roles where customer focus and interactions are central parts of the work.\nExperience using computers and various IT-based systems is a requirement for us. You must also be very experienced with information searching. The work requires that you have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.\nIf you advance in the process, you will need to complete a service test with a requirement for a passing result.\nYou have upper secondary education, but we consider it a merit if you have studied at university level.\nIt is a merit to have knowledge of the public sector, primarily municipal operations.
