The department supports GKN's operations in military and space. As a configuration manager, you have primary responsibility for driving and supporting one or more of the company's projects with configuration management\u2014that is, planning, development, production, delivery, and modification of their products. You ensure that product data is complete, up-to-date in the configuration management system, and traceable throughout the product's lifecycle.\nExamples of your tasks:\n\u2022 Establish and maintain configuration-controlled documents.\n\u2022 Drive and coordinate change management.\n\u2022 Ensure product structure and configuration baselines.\n\u2022 Support reviews and audits.\nThe role is central and important for their projects and products to meet the requirements for order and compliance of safety-critical products in the industry in which they operate. Product data is used in relationships with various customers both internally and externally.
