You will work continuously to provide legal support in change and development processes and will also contribute to legal governance within the authority.\n\nThe work also includes responsibility for revising and monitoring the agency's regulations, general guidelines, and other governing documents. You will prepare and present the agency's statements on referrals and develop proposals for statements to, among others, the Parliamentary Ombudsman and the Chancellor of Justice. The work may also include preparing submissions regarding legislative changes to the Government. You will provide support in legal proceedings, represent the Swedish Prison and Probation Service in court, and make decisions in certain compensation and damages cases.\n\nWork as a legal counsel is independent and varied. The work involves ongoing contact with, among others, the Government Offices, other authorities, and other parts of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service.
