If you drive, there is free parking available in our employee parking area.\nDuties\nAs a correctional officer, you are part of a team where you have daily contact with clients. The work varies: care, supervision, inspection, and security work are combined with release planning and counseling\/motivational work. Clear routines are a natural part of your daily work. You are responsible for opening and locking cell doors and escorting clients to work and education. The role also includes inspections and supervision of the exercise yard and gymnasium. You have daily contact with inmates, where your approach contributes to creating a sense of security and understanding their wellbeing.
