Your main workplace will be in the Hult-Edshult congregation, but some of your work will take place in other parts of the pastorate.\n\nThe pastorate has several historically interesting and fine-sounding organs. In Hult and Edshult churches, there is each a beautiful gallery organ built by Sven Nordstr\u00f6m in the 1800s, and in Hult church there is also a 2-manual organ in the choir built by \u00c5lems organ builders in the 1990s.\n\nIn Hult, the school is located next to the church and the parish hall in an idyllic setting, which provides great opportunities to develop children's choir activities.\n\nJob Responsibilities\nPlay at services, church ceremonies, and other congregation activities.\nLead choir activities for children and adults.\nTogether with the cantor in H\u00f6reda-Mellby, plan and conduct summer music and other concert activities.\nBe a resource in confirmation instruction work.\n\nQualifications\nWe are looking for someone who:\nhas a church music degree with C-level certification.\nhas broad church music knowledge, is well-versed in the worship life of the Church of Sweden, and is positive toward ecumenism.\nvalues the local context and wants to be part of and develop music and congregation life with us.\nis a team player who enjoys working collaboratively with a small team.\nhas a driver's license and access to a car.\nis positive, outgoing, and feels comfortable with both large groups and one-on-one meetings.\nwants to plan and participate in the pastorate's work and see it from a holistic perspective.\nis passionate about sharing the Christian faith and is a member of the Church of Sweden.\n\nGreat importance will be placed on personal suitability. Upon employment, you will need to provide a criminal record check intended for work with children and young people.\n\nThis is a permanent full-time position (100%) involving day, evening, and weekend services. Start date by agreement.\n\nWe are a pastorate with seven congregations in Eksj\u00f6 municipality and a small part of N\u00e4ssj\u00f6 municipality. In our congregations there are twelve churches, three chapels, twelve cemeteries, and two preschools.
