In the after-school program, we work toward student learning and well-being based on goals we develop together at the start of each school year. The after-school program provides our students with the best foundation for their future. They get the opportunity to try, reconsider, and reinforce their knowledge through experience-based learning.\n\nThis fall, we will participate in the Swedish National Education Agency's Language Initiative in the after-school program, which broadly aims to strengthen students' language development, reading interest, and reading skills to improve student knowledge of the Swedish language.\n\nYour responsibilities\nIn this position, you will combine the role of after-school program teacher with physical education instruction in grades 1 and 2.\n\nIn this role, you will among other things plan, implement, and follow up on pedagogical activities in the after-school program, with a focus on play, creativity, and students' social development. You are responsible for and lead physical education instruction according to curriculum objectives.\n\nAn important part of the work is collaborating closely with other teachers and after-school staff to create continuity throughout each student's day with us.
