You plan, conduct, and follow up on instruction and work closely with other teachers, mentors, and student health services to support students' academic development.\nYou will become part of a teaching team where collaboration and shared development of instruction is an important part of everyday work. We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting young people, building strong relationships, and finding ways to make mathematics comprehensible and motivating for students with different backgrounds.\nThis position is a temporary assignment starting immediately and will initially be part-time, with the possibility of expanding to a full-time role later. The teaching will primarily be in mathematics, but competence and certification in chemistry are desirable and may become relevant in the position moving forward.\nWhat we are looking for\nWe are primarily looking for you if you are a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach mathematics and preferably also chemistry at the upper secondary level. Previous teaching experience is desirable, but we will place great emphasis on personal suitability and your ability to engage and motivate our students.\nTo thrive in this role, you need to enjoy working with young people and have a strong ability to build safe and trusting relationships. You are clear and structured in your leadership and can adapt your instruction to meet students with different needs and backgrounds. We would like to see that you are solution-focused, engaged, and curious about developing your teaching together with colleagues.\nThe position also includes mentoring, which means you will play an important role in monitoring and supporting students' academic situation and development.
