Together with colleagues and local companies, you will help give our students the knowledge and skills demanded by today's and tomorrow's job market.\n\nWork Tasks\n\nAs a teacher in the Industrial Technology Program, you are responsible for teaching and mentoring within the program's professional subjects. You work closely with students to create motivation, professional pride, and conditions for lifelong learning.\n\nYour responsibilities include, among other things:\n\nPlan, implement, and follow up on teaching within industrial technology subjects.\n\nCreate a safe, stimulating, and developmental learning environment.\n\nAssess and document students' knowledge development.\n\nSupport and coach students in both their personal and professional development.\n\nCollaborate with local companies regarding workplace-based learning (APL) and skills supply.\n\nBe involved in the program's development work to ensure that the education meets the industry's needs.\n\nCooperate with colleagues within the school's other vocational programs.\n\nYou will have close collaboration with the local industry and the municipality's business community, which gives you the opportunity to contribute to an education that is relevant, current, and well-anchored in reality. You will also collaborate with colleagues in the Building and Construction Program, Electrical and Energy Program, Sales and Service Program, and Care and Health Program.\r\n\r\nQUALIFICATIONS\r\nQualifications\n\nWe are looking for someone with a genuine interest in industry, technology, and learning, and who wants to make a difference for young people's futures.\n\nWe would like to see that you:\n\nHave good knowledge of welding, CAD\/CAM, cutting operations, and computer-controlled production.\n\nHave experience from industry or other relevant professional background.\n\nCan organize, plan, and create structure in your work.\n\nAre a clear and inspiring pedagogical leader who engages and challenges students in their learning.\n\nHave good collaboration skills and see the value in developing the operation together with colleagues.\n\nHave good knowledge of the local business community and industry's skills needs, or are interested in building these relationships.\n\nTeacher certification and competence in relevant subjects are meritorious, but those with substantial professional experience from industry are also welcome to apply.\n\nPersonal Qualities\n\nWe place great emphasis on personal suitability.
