Then we have the job for you.\nYour New Job\nWe are seeking a teacher for the Industrial Technology Program at Aleholms Upper Secondary School. As a teacher in the industrial technology program, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing both theoretical and practical instruction. You create a learning environment where students develop their professional skills by combining theory with practical work in a workshop setting.\nThe role includes instructing students in the safe use of machines, tools, and workshop equipment, as well as actively working with workplace environment issues, risk assessments, and safety procedures.\nYou adapt instruction based on students' different circumstances to give each student the best possible opportunity to succeed. Part of the assignment is to assess, document, and follow up on students' knowledge development in accordance with applicable subject plans and course objectives. You also play a role in building and maintaining contacts with local industrial companies and apprenticeship placements.\nAs a teacher, you work closely with other teachers, student services, and school leadership to create a comprehensive approach to students' education and development.\nAbout You\nWe are looking for you if you have great commitment to both the industrial sector and youth learning, and want to help educate tomorrow's industry professionals. To function in this role, you need to have broad industrial technology expertise and experience with modern manufacturing industry. Knowledge of CNC technology, production technology, blueprint reading, measurement technology, and CAD is important. Expertise in operational reliability is a merit. Since instruction also covers operational reliability, the person needs knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and basic mechanics.\nYou should have experience working with production equipment such as CNC-controlled lathes and mills, and be able to handle the entire workflow from blueprint and CAD model to CAM preparation, programming, machine setup, and finished component. Knowledge of cutting processes, tool selection, cutting data, materials science, quality assurance, and control measurement are therefore important.\nIt is also meritorious if you have vocational teacher training or are currently studying to become a vocational teacher. If you do not yet have teaching credentials, we would like to see that you have the interest and willingness to complete vocational teacher training within a few years.\nAs a person, you have good pedagogical insight and the ability to motivate and inspire learning.
