At S\u00f6rbyn you will work in a beautiful natural environment with proximity to animals and the sea, you have access to a staff gym, and have the opportunity to buy locally produced products, everything from cutting boards to food. You will join an open environment with new and fresh facilities combined with an important societal mission.\nJob Description\nClients who have a need for education can apply or be referred to adult education. Teaching is individualized and takes place at the Learning Center. As a teacher in the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, you work in three functions. You teach your students at S\u00f6rbyn Prison in the learning center's facilities, and you will also support students in the role of educational supervisor for those who have their subject teacher at a distance within the authority. In addition, you teach students at a distance who are studying at other prisons. This means that in your role you have continuous contact with and collaborate with teachers and other colleagues throughout the country. All work takes place at the prison.\nQualifications\nIn your role as a teacher, you are a skilled educator with the will and ability to motivate, inspire, and guide students to reach their goals. You are clear and engaged in your work and have a good ability to create structure and systematicity.
