You are responsible for instruction and mentoring of the group's students and create a learning environment where each student has the opportunity to succeed based on their abilities.\n\nUsing a formative and relationship-building approach, you plan, implement, and develop instruction based on students' needs, strengths, and progress. You work closely with colleagues to create continuity in planning, implementation, and assessment, with student learning always at the center. Through clear and supportive leadership, you involve students in both instruction and planning, which strengthens their motivation, responsibility, and confidence in their own abilities.\n\nIn your mentor role, you build trusting relationships and serve as important support for students' academic, social, and personal development. You are certified to teach grades 7-9.
