You will take a leading role within the mechanical discipline, working closely with other disciplines such as piping, structural engineering, and process design engineering within the project team.\nArea of responsibility and tasks:\nLead and coordinate the discipline team in delivery projects.\nKeep track and be responsible for the discipline budget.\nPrepare technical documentation for the procurement and manufacturing of equipment by our suppliers, project schedules, specifications, and drawings for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and storage tanks.\nFollow up on the manufacturing process through drawing reviews and daily communication with suppliers.\nSupport installation work at the customer's or workshop site, both remotely and on site when needed.\nSupport pre-projects and sales work when needed.\nContribute to the development of work processes and continuous improvements.\nOccasionally travel to suppliers or customer sites during project execution.\n\nThe scope of the projects varies, which means that the size of your discipline team will also vary. Therefore, we place equal importance on your ability to collaborate and lead, as well as your capability to perform engineering and design work independently. Working in global teams is part of our delivery projects execution setup.\nWe operate within a global multi-technology organization. Daily work involves contact with colleagues and partners in many parts of the world and also with other technologies. The role therefore includes some planned short-term business travel.\nWho you are\nTo be successful in this role, you should hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or possess an equivalent qualification.\nYou are accustomed to taking initiative and enjoy working collaboratively in a global environment. Furthermore, you have extensive experience (more than 10 years) in a similar industry, involving engineering design, drafting, and supplier interactions.\nYou have the below skills and knowledge:\nAutoCAD 2D\nMicrosoft Office applications\nSolidWorks (desirable)\nE3D (desirable)\nKnowledge in norms and standards such as EN, ASME and GB\nWorking in global project teams\nExperience from evaporation plants or other pulp and paper process areas\nSite experience from pulp and paper industry (desirable)\n\nExcellent English language skills, both written and spoken, are required.\nWe offer\nWe offer a collaborative and dynamic work environment with meaningful projects that support industrial efficiency.
