You will support the project and site management teams in developing clear and realistic construction schedules that ensure strong progress, high quality, and efficient use of resources.\n\nYou will be responsible for coordinating project schedules, monitoring deviations, and driving the planning process in close collaboration with production, procurement, project management, and other specialist functions.\n\nThis is a role where you will have a genuine opportunity to influence both project outcomes and the future development of our planning practices.\n\nYou will report to the Head of Planning and be part of the Project Planning team.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and structure the project's planning process.\nDevelop, maintain, and update project schedules and construction plans in accordance with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).\nCoordinate planning activities across contracts, construction operations, procurement, and deliveries.\nReport project status and communicate schedule progress to stakeholders.\nIdentify deviations and ensure schedules are updated to reflect changes.\nDocument delays and disruptions, and support the project with analysis and forecasting.\nContribute to cost monitoring and resource planning.\nProvide recommendations for improvement and participate in the development of working methods, tools, and systems support.\n\nYour Profile\n\nWe are looking for someone with experience in leading and driving planning activities in complex environments, preferably within large-scale construction and\/or infrastructure projects. You understand how project scheduling impacts project finances, resource planning, procurement, design, and construction activities.\n\nYou possess strong analytical skills and are able to translate detailed information into well-founded decisions that support the organization's overall objectives. At the same time, you have the ability to maintain a holistic perspective, identify interdependencies, and anticipate the consequences of different courses of action.\n\nYou are an effective communicator who can engage others in the planning process, foster alignment across different functions, and convey complex information in a clear and pedagogical manner.\n\nTo succeed in this role, we believe you have:\nExperience working with project planning and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or ASTA Powerproject.\nA higher education qualification in a technical discipline and at least five years of experience in project planning.\nProven experience managing large and complex projects. Experience within the construction industry and construction delivery is considered advantageous.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, which is essential for successful collaboration and project delivery.\nExperience using planning and scheduling tools, combined with a solid understanding of construction and production workflows.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.\n\nLocation\n\nThis position is based in Lule\u00e5.
