The assignment includes work within the municipality's special residential care facilities, short-term care, and dementia services. As an occupational therapist, you will, among other things, conduct activity assessments of patients and implement occupational therapy interventions to support daily activities, which requires flexibility and resourcefulness. You will also prescribe assistive devices, supervise staff, and work with documentation for housing adaptation grants. You work closely with physical therapists, rehabilitation assistants, nurses, supervisors, and nursing assistants.
