The unit operates as a team. We develop our operations using digital tools and methods with the goal of being an attractive and modern employer and care provider.\n\nWe are now seeking a licensed occupational therapist for our home health care service. The operations are characterized by a structured approach, good collaboration, and a focus on quality in care and rehabilitation. You will become part of an interdisciplinary team with broad expertise and opportunities for continuous development.\r\n\r\n1 position(s).\r\n\r\nWORK DUTIES\r\nAs an occupational therapist in home health care, you will work with patients in their home environment or within short-term care activities. You will meet people with different needs and contribute to strengthening their functional and activity abilities. In addition to being part of the Rehabilitation Unit team, you will also be part of an assessment team with colleagues from other professions. The assessment team works to ensure that discharges from inpatient care take place in a safe, secure, and efficient manner.\n\nYour duties as an occupational therapist also include the following:\n\n\t\u2022 Assessment, planning, and implementation of occupational therapy interventions\n\t\u2022 Prescription and follow-up of assistive devices\n\t\u2022 Preparation of rehabilitation plans and documentation\n\t\u2022 Collaboration in multiprofessional teams with, among others, physical therapists, nurses, rehabilitation assistants, nursing assistants, and case managers\n\t\u2022 Cooperation with other actors and operations\n\t\u2022 Participation in development work related to the transition toward Nearby Care\n\nThe position involves independent responsibility with good opportunity to plan and structure your workday.\r\n\r\nQUALIFICATIONS\r\nWe are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist with good ability to work independently and in a structured manner, and who has well-developed collaboration skills and can cooperate with other professions. To succeed in this role, you need to be flexible and solution-oriented, and have the ability to adapt interventions based on the individual's needs with a clear patient focus.\n\nGreat weight is placed on personal suitability.\n\nA Category B driver's license is required.\n\nTo obtain employment within the care and social services administration in Ronneby Municipality, an extract from the police's criminal record must be presented. The form to be used is called \"Work in the home with elderly and people with disabilities\". Normal processing time is approximately two weeks.
