Here you have the conditions to make your mark on how you want to work as an occupational therapist, and you can be part of the challenging journey that municipal services are undertaking with more advanced home healthcare and work focused on good and accessible care.\nThe Rehabilitation Group, your closest colleagues, consists of 2 physiotherapists, 3 occupational therapists, and 2 rehabilitation assistants.\nResponsibilities\nAs an occupational therapist with us in Perstorp, you work to enable individuals to live as independently as possible. You share overall rehabilitation responsibility with the physiotherapist. You conduct assessments, training, evaluation, and follow-up, as well as testing and follow-up of technical aids based on occupational therapist prescription rights. The work also includes informing, instructing, and guiding staff, patients, and relatives regarding rehabilitative and preventive measures. You will participate in and teach our transfer training for care personnel.\nYou will work with quality registers such as BPSD and Senior Alert. Perstorp has been designated a Gold Municipality for two consecutive years for Senior Alert work at residential care facilities.\nAs Perstorp is a smaller municipality, work occurs in special housing, home care, LSS, and social psychiatry.
