The position also includes outpatient clinic work and on-call duty. During on-call shifts, you are responsible for the ward's patients with good support from the backup team and provide medical advice to other departments.\n\nYour Future Workplace\nThe Department of Infectious Diseases is based in J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping and serves as the county's knowledge center for infectious diseases. The clinic consists of a care unit with 24 beds, a specialist outpatient clinic, and extensive consultation and advisory services conducted in Eksj\u00f6, J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping, and V\u00e4rnamo. Currently, a pilot program for hospital-in-home care is underway, where patients can receive parts of their antibiotic treatment at home. The clinic is characterized by motivated staff working in teams, collectively fostering a good collaborative climate. Many of our patients feel that our staff's main strengths are respectful treatment, good availability for questions and concerns, and a sense of security.\n\nYour Profile\nWe are seeking a licensed physician interested in trying the specialty of infectious disease medicine for a temporary position from December 2026 until August 2027 at the latest. You have a genuine interest in infectious diseases. Experience with the Cosmic medical records system is a merit, and we prefer that you hold a valid driver's license.\nAs a person, you are positive, responsible, and confident in your professional role.
