Welcome to our world!\n\nAbout Us\nThe Red Cross Treatment Center is a unique resource in the healthcare context by being entirely focused on treatment for migrants suffering from severe mental health issues related to war, flight, persecution, or torture. Many of the patients have themselves been exposed to war- and flight-related violence, abuse, and threats, while others have been traumatized by witnessing how loved ones have been affected.\n\nSwedish Red Cross operates treatment centers for war-injured and tortured individuals at six locations in Sweden: Sk\u00f6vde, Uppsala, Gothenburg, Malm\u00f6, and Skellefte\u00e5. The goal of Swedish Red Cross treatment centers is to provide support and care to people who have been exposed to war trauma and torture so they can regain their psychological and physical health. In addition to clinical treatment work, we work to spread knowledge by offering training and information to various target groups, both externally and internally.\n\nAbout the Position\nThe Red Cross Treatment Center in Gothenburg provides treatment to people with a migrant background who suffer from severe mental health issues. We provide care to people regardless of legal status.
