If so, this could be the role for you.\n \nJob Responsibilities \nA typical day may include participating in the team's daily startup meeting, attending project meetings, and taking part in or leading risk assessments. Your responsibilities will also include handling supplier quotations, reviewing technical requirement specifications, and supporting logistics development activities connected to automation and material flow improvements.\nAt times, you may participate in ergonomic assessments, prepare presentations for decision-making forums, or present material to the engine machining management team. You may also have the opportunity to contribute to Scania-wide projects, representing the engine machining organization.\nTo succeed in your work, you will collaborate closely with several support functions, including work environment engineers, local finance and HR representatives, production engineers, team leaders, workshop technicians, and colleagues across other Scania production units.\n \nWho You Are \nTo thrive as a Logistics Development Engineer with us, you are curious, open-minded, and able to think beyond established solutions. We have already started the automation of material handling within engine machining, and our largest ongoing project is the planning and commissioning of new automated material flows to and from the machining lines using AGVs and AMRs.\nWe work both independently in individual projects and collaboratively in larger team projects, creating a rewarding mix of self-driven work and teamwork.
