Children receive intensive habilitation two days per week in groups of five. Children come to the unit together with an educator from preschool. During the week, the unit receives two groups of children. Together with other professional categories, you are responsible for the child's habilitation planning and work as a team toward the established goals. Your work includes assessment and treatment in the areas of speech, language, communication and eating and swallowing ability.\nYou are responsible for setting goals for the children's treatment based on your expertise and continuously following up on these goals. You guide guardians and preschool staff and are responsible for the communication aids that children need, both fitting and follow-up. You lead groups together with others on the team and conduct individual treatments where needed.\nStockholm Habilitation Unit is a small operation where everyone helps to make it function, which means you will also perform tasks not directly related to your professional training.
