The Motor Skills and Training Center is located at Sabbatsbergs sjukhus in central Stockholm, in easily accessible premises with good transportation.\n\nJob Responsibilities\nAs a speech-language pathologist with us, you will work in a team with special focus on eating and swallowing difficulties in children, adolescents, and adults in contact with Rehabilitation & Health. The team currently consists of two speech-language pathologists, a dietitian, and an occupational therapist.\n\nThe Rehabilitation eating and swallowing team is complementary support to all rehabilitation centers in Region Stockholm and handles issues such as dysphagia, chewing difficulties, and selective eating. We work in varying professional constellations with patients, family members, and networks to assess eating and find solutions that work in everyday life.\n\nYour work will include:\n- Investigating and treating eating and swallowing difficulties\n- Assessing complex issues related to eating together with other professionals\n- Providing advice, consultation, and guidance to people in the patient's network\n- Collaborating with speech-language pathologists at rehabilitation centers and other healthcare providers\n- Contributing knowledge and consultative support to colleagues within Rehabilitation & Health\n\nWith us you will have varied work within a specialized field and the opportunity to work closely with other professions.
