Husqvarna Die Casting & Machining is Northern Europe's largest and most advanced magnesium foundry, offering a complete in-house manufacturing process from casting to finished components.\nOur Die Casting & Machining (D&M) operations in Huskvarna are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to help develop future manufacturing processes in a highly automated environment with a strong focus on die casting, machining, automation, digitalization and industrialization.\n\n\nAbout the role\nAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of our engineering organization and work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Project Management and R&D.\nYou will play an important role in the industrialization of new products, developing production processes, verifying technical solutions and supporting the transfer from product development into serial production.\nThis is a role close to both technology and production. You will spend time on the shop floor troubleshooting, investigating quality issues, identifying root causes and developing processes.\nYour role is not primarily to carry out every practical modification or repair yourself. Instead, you will focus on understanding the technical challenge, defining the right solution and providing the technical input needed for Process Technicians, Maintenance Technicians or external suppliers to implement it.\nIn short, we are looking for someone who enjoys understanding how things work, why they fail and how they can be improved.\n\n\nYour work may include:\nDie Casting processes for magnesium and aluminium\nDie Casting tools and process equipment\nAutomation and robotics\nCAD and 3D modelling\nContinuous improvement and production development\nInvestments and industrialization projects\nTroubleshooting and root cause analysis\n\n\n\nYou will join Husqvarna Manufacturing's technical organization of around 40 technicians and engineers, where curiosity, learning and technical development are encouraged.\n\n\nAbout you\nWe are looking for someone with a genuine and broad interest in technology. Perhaps you enjoy fixing, building or taking things apart in your spare time simply because you want to understand how they work.\nYou are analytical, curious and comfortable taking initiative. You enjoy solving technical problems and turning them into practical, workable solutions.
