If you want to be part of this exciting and varied assignment - apply as a Land Negotiator with us!\n\nJob Responsibilities\nAs a Land Negotiator, you are responsible for land acquisition matters in the Swedish Transport Administration's investment projects. You serve as a support to projects and manage contacts regarding land acquisition issues. You collaborate internally with project managers and colleagues, and support maintenance and planning activities.\n\nYour work includes negotiating compensation for property purchases and encroachments, drafting property legal agreements, and handling damage settlements and disputes. You also participate in planning and design work, and represent the Swedish Transport Administration at land surveying procedures and in contacts with property owners, authorities, and other stakeholders.\n\nYou will work with both road and railway projects in the Gothenburg area and surrounding region. Since the work involves many contacts with property owners, the public, and other stakeholders, it is important to be a good relationship builder who builds new networks, maintains existing ones, and inspires confidence. You are confident and have good communication skills, conveying messages in a simple and attentive manner, adapting your communication to the recipient. Furthermore, you are a team player with good collaboration skills and share information needed to achieve desired results.\n\nWe are looking for someone who has\n- a university or college degree of at least 180 credits in surveying, or alternatively another relevant academic education combined with experience that the Swedish Transport Administration considers equivalent\n- several years of current and relevant work experience in property law matters\n- very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written\n- a driver's license for passenger vehicles.\n\nIt is meritorious if you have current and relevant work experience in\n- valuation and negotiation in the property law field\n- land acquisition matters\n- property law issues within infrastructure and\/or societal development processes.\n\nOther Information\nThe work location for this position is Gothenburg.
