You create the requested design and adapt it together with the electrical engineer. You have frequent check-ins with the customer throughout the entire process \u2013 it's a job with lots of customer contact, not just at the drawing board \u2013 and you're the person the workshop turns to when assemblers need guidance or a quick decision. You also maintain contact with suppliers when component parts need to be ordered.\n\nWho We're Looking For\nYou thrive when a problem is appropriately challenging \u2013 not unsolvable, but not obvious either. You like creating structure in what's chaotic, prioritizing correctly when many things happen at once, and you have that ability to quickly find the core of what a customer actually needs, rather than building something no one asked for. You're thorough because you know quality matters, especially when the end customer is a mission-critical operation that can't afford mistakes. At the same time, you keep your cool when things don't go as planned.\n\nYou're used to taking responsibility for your part of the process, you like being close to the workshop and seeing what you design become reality just a few meters away, and you're the kind of colleague who contributes to the team spirit as much as to the delivery.\n\nWe're looking for you if you:\n\n\u2022 Are a higher technical degree or civil engineer in mechanical engineering\n\n\u2022 Have experience with 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks, but not a requirement)\n\n\u2022 We appreciate if you have experience with strength calculations, or good knowledge in dimensioning and specifying welds\n\n\u2022 Have a background from industry or sectors with high quality requirements, and are used to setting demands on suppliers\n\nThe position is classified as security-sensitive, which in this case requires Swedish citizenship and approved security clearance and background check.
