You plan, implement, and develop educational and information initiatives that make it easy and motivating to do the right thing. You work both operationally and with a developmental focus \u2013 out in schools, in dialogue with property owners and residents, and together with colleagues to develop effective working methods and reach more target groups.\n\n\n\nThe goal of the role is to contribute to MERAB achieving our overall objectives:\nto reduce residual waste by 30% by 2030 (compared to 2023)\nto ensure that at least 65% of municipal waste is prepared for reuse or material recycling by 2035\n\n\n\n\nYour contribution will thus lead to increased sorting rates, reduced sorting errors, and more circular behaviors among residents and businesses. If you have questions about the position, please feel free to contact Olivia Josefsson, olivia.josefsson@randstad.se.\n\n\n\n\nResponsibilities\nSupport work to improve sorting, reduce sorting errors, and increase knowledge among residents and businesses.\nWork in the field to build good understanding of MERAB's waste collection and management.\nPlan and conduct lectures and workshops on waste, recycling, reuse, and sustainable development.\nVisit schools and adapt content and pedagogy to different age groups and target audiences.\nBuild and maintain relationships with schools, municipalities, housing companies, and other collaboration partners.\nConduct information meetings and advisory services with property owners and in multi-family housing.\nDevelop educational materials, presentations, and information initiatives related to waste issues.\nContribute to developing new formats and channels, such as digital education, videos, campaigns, and social media.\nParticipate in campaigns, events, and other activities that strengthen knowledge about sustainable waste management.\nFollow up on the impact of initiatives through, for example, waste analyses, customer dialogue, and statistics, and use these insights to develop the work.\nWork closely with colleagues in areas such as customer service, recycling centers, communications, and operations.\n\n\nQualifications\nHave relevant higher education in, for example, pedagogy, environmental science, sustainable development, communication, or other areas that the employer deems equivalent.\nHave experience educating, lecturing, or leading groups.\nAre comfortable meeting different target groups and can adapt your message in a pedagogical and engaging way.\nHave good knowledge of environmental issues and sustainable development.\nHave good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written.\nAre accustomed to working independently, in a structured manner, and in close collaboration with others.\nHave good digital skills and can create materials and presentations.\nHave a Class B driver's license.\n\nMerits\nKnowledge of waste management or circular economy.\nExperience with behavioral change or nudging.\nExperience in project management or campaign work.\nExperience with social media communication.\n\nTo thrive and succeed in the role, you are a communicative and pedagogical person who genuinely enjoys speaking to groups and giving presentations.
