Those tasks are governance (ensuring architectural and security compliance), IaaS, PaaS, Network operation, Monitoring support, Azure DevOps support and capacity management. To handle all those different topics we must automate as much as possible and provide self-service functionality.\n\nYour Responsibilities:\nAs our Cloud Engineer you are responsible for ensuring a stable cloud platform which is evolving with the needs of the organization.\nSpecific tasks would include:\n\nCloud Networking\n- Understanding Cloud-on-Prem connectivity (ExpressRoute, MPLS, BGP)\n- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based network architectures (e.g., VPCs, subnets, routing, PaaS-specific subnet creation, network segmentation, private endpoints).\n- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams to integrate networking solutions.\n- Automate network infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like PowerShell, Bicep\/ARM.\n- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues in cloud environments.\n- Knowledge in designing and operating Next Gen Firewall environments, ideally Check Point.\n\nScripting\n- Writing scripts in PowerShell, Bash\n\nAutomation and Orchestration\n- Creating and maintaining automation based on scripts using e.g. REST\n\nConfiguration Management\n- Using tools like ARM templates, Bicep but also Ansible or DSC\n\nOS Support\n- Troubleshooting OS issues with Windows and Linux\n\nGovernance\n- Ensuring proper usage of tagging, permission handling, naming and policies\n- Support platform audits\n\nFinancial Analyses\n- Having a good understanding of the cloud financial model and the TCO\n- Giving advice on cloud consumption\n\nSecurity\n- Manage and react on alerts from Azure Security Center\n- Guiding projects together with IT security for secure implementation\n\nSource Code Management (Azure DevOps)\n- Manage Azure DevOps (create project rooms, licenses management, feature enablement)\n- Backlog handling\n\nLocation\nStockholm, Amsterdam, Berlin or Katowice\n\nQualifications\nYour Profile\nIn the role as Cloud Engineer with the focus on Network you will be working in a team that is very close to business but also to Agile IT and Core IT. To succeed in this role it is important that you have the ability to develop a T-shaped skill profile. Whereas it is expected you are an expert on Network in Cloud environments, you should also have a basic understanding of OS, Backup, Security, Databases, Web, Azure PaaS Services to still be the generalist we are looking for. So there is not one person dealing e.g. with Network\u2014it is the whole team. Since automation is key for our delivery, you are also expected to have the ability to code and\/or script. You need to be able to let go of traditional ways of working and be open for a fast changing and developing environment.\nYou are not only an expert technician but you also have social competence and understand the needs of the business.
