We work both strategically and operatively to create safe, functional, and attractive environments for residents and visitors.\n\n1 position(s).\n\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nAs a parks engineer, you'll be an important expert and collaborative partner in developing, managing, and creating attractive, sustainable, and functional outdoor environments in Enk\u00f6ping Municipality.\n\nThe role is broad and varied and encompasses both strategic and operational tasks within parks and urban environment areas.\n\nYou'll work with, among other things:\n\n\t\u2022 Planning, development, and design of parks, green spaces, plantings, and other public environments as well as seasonal decorations.\n\t\u2022 Development of plant proposals, design ideas, and improvements for the municipality's green spaces, such as the municipality's flower concept.\n\t\u2022 Participation in the municipality's investment and development projects as an expert in parks, vegetation, and urban environment.\n\t\u2022 Review of drawings, documents, and project materials and support on planning and implementation matters.\n\t\u2022 Procurement, ordering, invoice management, follow-up, and quality assurance of contracts, operations, and maintenance efforts.\n\t\u2022 Coordination and development of working methods to ensure long-term sustainable, attractive, and well-maintained public spaces.\n\t\u2022 Dialog and cooperation with residents, contractors, consultants, associations, and other internal and external stakeholders.\n\t\u2022 Participation in municipal events (such as planning of garden day), information initiatives, and activities related to parks, nature, and urban environment. The role may also develop over time based on the department's needs and your experience, competencies, and areas of interest.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRequirements:\n\nEducated horticulturist engineer or landscape engineer or equivalent education\/experience that the employer deems equivalent.\n\nDriver's license category B.\n\nYou have good digital skills and see digital tools as a natural part of business development and efficiency.
