It would be helpful if you can get there with your own car, since bus schedules don't fully align with work hours.\n\nCurrently, work hours are daytime 9-17, alternating weeks Monday through Thursday and alternating weeks Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Work hours may vary in the future with potentially shorter shifts, depending on the user's other activities. Work in the evenings and weekends may also be relevant in the future.\n\nThe duration of the position is determined by the necessary decisions made regarding the user's services, as well as whether you and the user work well together.\n\nWork Tasks\nIn your work as a personal assistant, you will help ensure that the person you support has a meaningful daily life characterized by participation. This is so the person can live a fulfilling life despite their disability.\n\nWork tasks are varied and include things that occur in a home as well as providing support with personal care and activities. You will primarily provide support in the person's daily activities, such as walks, leisure interests, swimming, and computer use. You communicate in sign language and provide support to the user to engage with various social matters. In this position, it is a requirement that you can communicate fluently in sign language and have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Sign language as a support is not sufficient for this position.\n\nIt is an advantage if you have experience working in care and nursing, experience working with people who have autism, and knowledge of low-arousal approaches.\n\nAs a person, you are cheerful, responsible, and attentive to people's different needs.
