Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Functional Disabilities). Each customer is unique and work tasks vary based on individual needs.\nThe work can include, for example, assistance with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities in and outside the home. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity and contribute to making everyday life function in a safe and smooth way.\nFor you to thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the customer. Since each assistance is unique, we will learn more about you during the recruitment process to create the best possible match. You will receive information about which customer or customers you may work with and how the work is structured in each assignment.\nAt Humana, it is important that both you as an assistant and the customer feel secure in the collaboration. Therefore, all new assistants receive customized onboarding, both to the professional role and to the specific customer you will be working with.\n\nWho Are You?\nWe are looking for someone who is good at building good relationships, has great commitment, wants to take responsibility, and adapts easily to new situations. Since all our customers have different needs and wishes, we ask you to answer the selection questions as clearly and thoroughly as possible \u2013 this increases the chance that we can match you with the right assignment.\nWe are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:\n\nhas good knowledge of Swedish\n\n\nhas previous experience of similar work\n\n\ncan tolerate pet animals (dogs\/cats may be present in the home)\n\n\nis smoke-free during work hours\n\n\nIt is also a merit if you:\n\nhave experience with epilepsy\n\n\nhave experience with mobility aids, such as lifts\n\n\nhave experience with TAKK\n\n\nhave experience with stoma\/catheter\n\n\nGreat weight will be placed on personal suitability.\n\nWorking Hours and Employment Type\nAs a temporary hourly employee, you work as needed with one or more of our customers in G\u00e4vle or Sandviken. Working hours vary based on customer needs and may include day, evening, night, weekday, and weekend shifts. On-call shifts with overnight duty occur.\nThe current employment type is \"hourly employment\" which means work as needed.\nBefore the position starts, you will complete a paid onboarding\/training period.\nWe would like to see that you as an applicant are interested in being trained and working with several of our customers in G\u00e4vle and Sandviken.\nFixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement.\nStart Date\nStart date by agreement.\n\nBeing Employed at Humana\nA prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you as an applicant can present a valid form of ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To be able to work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.\nUnder current legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants to a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you need to provide an extract from the police's criminal record and suspicion register before a potential employment.
