Your responsibilities will include planning and conducting statistical analyses, developing analysis plans, managing and quality-assuring research data, working with national registries and clinical study data, and writing scientific manuscripts. You will collaborate closely with researchers in general practice, geriatrics, and health economics, and contribute to the development of future research projects and grant applications.\nAs a postdoctoral researcher, you will primarily conduct research. Teaching may also be included in the responsibilities, but not exceeding one fifth of working hours.\nAs postdoc, you will principally carry out research. A certain amount of teaching may be part of your duties, up to a maximum of 20% of working hours.\nQualifications\nTo be eligible for employment as a postdoctoral researcher, you must have been awarded a doctoral degree or have a foreign degree deemed equivalent to a doctoral degree. Your degree must have been awarded no later than the date on which the employment decision is made.\nIt is considered a merit if your degree was awarded no more than three years before the application deadline for this position. If there are special reasons, candidates who received their doctoral degree earlier may also be considered, for example due to various forms of statutory leave.\nWe are looking for a candidate with a doctoral degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, medical statistics, public health science, or another closely related field. You have documented experience of statistical analysis of observational studies and\/or randomized clinical trials, as well as excellent skills in statistical programming, for example in R or Stata. You communicate very well in spoken and written English. We also believe that you have experience of analyzing longitudinal data, registry data, or cluster-randomized studies. Experience of causal inference, survival analysis, mixed models, generalized regression models, multiple imputation, or other advanced statistical methodology is considered a merit. Experience of work in diabetes, cardiovascular research, primary care, or implementation research, as well as scientific publication in international journals, is also considered a merit.\nYou are analytical, structured, and independent, with a strong ability to plan and drive your work forward. You have a genuine interest in method development and statistical questions, as well as good collaboration skills in interdisciplinary research environments.
