Welcome to apply for a job with us!\n\nYour Tasks\nYou will work in an international research environment and mainly with the following tasks:\nLead an experimental human study investigating the effects of temporal interference stimulation targeting the amygdala on affective processing.\nWork closely with other members of the research group and supervise students and research assistants.\n\nAs a postdoctoral researcher, you will primarily conduct research. Teaching may also be part of your duties, but no more than one-fifth of your working time.\n\nYour Qualifications\nTo be eligible for employment as a postdoctoral researcher, you must have completed a doctoral degree or hold a foreign degree assessed as equivalent to a doctoral degree. Your degree must be completed by the time the employment decision is made.\nIt is meritorious if your degree was completed no more than three years before the application deadline for this position. If there are special reasons, it may be considered if the doctoral degree was completed earlier, for example due to various types of statutory leave.\n\nWe are looking for you with the following experience and knowledge:\nDocumented and extensive competence in planning and leading experimental human studies within affective and social neuroscience\nExperience with neuromodulation techniques, particularly temporal interference\nExperience with psychophysiological measurement methods, particularly eye-tracking\nDocumented competence in statistical modeling of behavioral and psychophysiological data from human studies\nKnowledge and experience in affective neuroscience, with particular focus on the human amygdala\nKnowledge and experience in substance use disorder, including alcohol use disorder\nVery good competence in statistical software, preferably R\nVery good ability to express yourself scientifically in writing\nExperience in supervising students\nGood knowledge of English, both spoken and written\n\nAs a person, you are a self-starter with well-developed communication skills.
