In addition, a Powerplant Engineer continuously contributes to improving SAS products and processes with cost saving initiatives to help our service in a complex and demanding environment.\n Job description:  Challenges you will work on:     As a member of the Powerplant team, you will work on various engine\/APU and nacelle\/TR types, including LEAP, TRENT, IAE, XWB, PW and CF34. The focus is to maintain the Continuing Airworthiness, safety and reliability of engine\/APU and its components in line with the manufacturer recommendations and the regulatory requirements. You will work close with all teams in SAS CAMO as well with SAS Part-145 department. You should possess analytic driven nature and have experience to draw conclusions from data driven facts, you should have experience working in a similar operational environment and will have safety as your top priority, with sound judgement in both technical and financial matters. As a Powerplant Engineer at SAS, you will be \u2022 Evaluation of continuing airworthiness and maintenance related tasks. \u2022 Short- and long-term engine fleet planning. \u2022 Analyze and monitor Engine Health Monitoring activities. \u2022 Engine \/ APU \/ TR\/Nacelle repair management. \u2022 Handling phase-in and phase-out of engines and its components. \u2022 Administer\/review engine related contract proposals\/agreements, warranty claims etc. \u2022 Ensure effective and timely coordination\/implementation of planning and project control functions required for engine related projects. \u2022 Ownership of a significant maintenance budget, including cost control and forecasting.\n     The Team   You will be part of the CAMO Engineering organization within SAS Technical Operations and work closely with Technical Operations, Flight Operations, Network Planning, Fleet Management, Finance, Aviation Authorities, Suppliers, SAS Part-145, and other engineering disciplines to ensure the continued airworthiness, reliability, and performance of the SAS fleet.\n     To be successful we believe you have   \u2022 University BSc\/BEng or MSc degree in Aeronautical\/Mechanical Engineering. \u2022 Relevant experience in aviation\/airline engineering within Powerplant (aircraft types A320\/A330\/A350\/E190\/E195 and\/or B737). \u2022 Minimum of 3 years' demonstrative work experience with CAMO Powerplant engineering. \u2022 Knowledge of EASA Part-M and Part-145 regulations. \u2022 Skywise experience is advantageous. \u2022 Excellent communication skills. \u2022 Fluent in English \u2013 both verbally and written. \u2022 Strong skills in IT systems and tools.\n It is also meritorious if you have direct experience within \u2022 TRENT\/XWB and E190-E2 Engines. \u2022 AMOS MMIS system.\n As a person you...
